Week 1 & 2 - 12/20-1/3

So I was going to just do monthly posts and maybe after this first month I will, but I feel like there are so many things I want to update on - so many firsts my little Angel is having that I am not documenting!  Here is the recap of our first weeks together:

Once we got to the recovery suite we had lots of visitors, Grandma & Grandpa Camire, Aunt Qui and Kate, Great Grandma & Poppy Camire and Great Aunt Cathy & Great Uncle Shawn.  Before though we got her all alone for her first snuggles with us, those were the best! 

We loved the hospital and had wonderful nurses who helped Daddy with a first - he got to change his and Braelyn's first diaper (there was a little "blow" out :))

We celebrated her first Holiday with Grandma, Grandpa, Qui and Katie.  Since she was born on the 1st day of Hanukkah she was our very best gift!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for Braelyn's very own menorah! 

We had her first car seat ride home - what an adventure that was.  Daddy braved the snow storm and rush hour traffic to get us home safe and sound.

Once we got  home we had our first at home visitors, Tim & Kristi and Alex & Diana.  Too bad Mommy wasn't thinking and didn't get pictures!  "Nonnie" Nancy also came in to visit for a bit.  In between some naps and getting used to her new house we had her first Dr's appointment (also her 2nd and 3rd).

We celebrated a couple more holiday's with our family and friends, Braelyn had to dress for the occasions!

Before her first week was over we had her Hebrew naming ceremony at home with our family and friends.

Whew what a first couple weeks, after that we needed a nap!
