3 Months

Too hungry for smiles :)
 Weight: 13lbs 11 ounces
Clothing: 0-3 months
Diapers: Size 1's
Feeding: Nursing every 2-3 hours during the day and 10 hours at night

Night time Sleep: Thankfully B has kept her sleeping habits, she sure loves to sleep at night!  She has continued with her going to sleep around 9:30pm and waking up around 7:30am.  We are certainly lucky parents to have been blessed with this little miracle as neither Danny or I function very well on little sleep.  She is still sleeping swaddled in her rock n play but she has grown out of the swaddling blankets and the miracle blanket isn't fitting very well anymore.  I am really nervous that once the swaddle comes off the schedule will be kaput.  We think this week will be the last week in it so we shall see!  We also got her video monitor this weekend and are going to see how sleep sans swaddle goes before moving her to her room.  I am not anxious to get her out but I do want her to get used to her crib, I sure will miss that little baby sleeping so close!

Updates: We weren't supposed to have a 3 month appointment but on the 20th B had a horrible day and I was sure she had an ear infection so in to the Dr we went.  Our favorite Dr. Abbey was out on vacation so we saw the same lady we saw for B's eating issues.  Turns out my little girl has bad excema and she wasn't pulling at her ears but scratching at what I thought was just a case of craddle cap.  We are on a prescription hydrocortisone and another shampoo, Danny thinks we can open a store with all our extra's, and that seems to be really clearing things up so far.

Everything else is going so great, she is quite the eater and now that nursing has become second nature we are both really enjoying the time we have together.  She is getting bigger and more active every day, she is also cooing and chatting away, we are waiting for the giggles to start and we are sure there close with these big gummy smiles she has discovered.

Favorite moment this month: Our little girl ROLLED OVER this month on Thursday March 1st.  She kept almost getting there so Daddy pulled out his IPad and got it all on video.  I was sure it was a fluke but again later on in the month she did it while I was recording so it looks like we have a roller on our hands, only tummy to back so far!  I love these milestones but I really cannot believe our little girl is growing so quickly, time is just flying by!

  1. When kaylee grew out of her swaddle I was concerned too but she actually really loved being able to spread out and move all over (I also started her in her crib then too). Once I wasn't using her swaddle I immediately put her into a sleep sac (I still don't put anything in her crib, her toys are always stacked on her crib rail for when she wakes up). She still sleeps with one every night, they're wonderful! We have a fleece one and a cotton one. Maybe try that so she's still feels snug and warm. Sounds like things are really going great for you 3, I'm so happy to hear that!!!!! She's beautiful!
