Warning: feeling a little sentimental today, I will try to keep it in check :)
We had Tim and Kristi's wedding and a Bears game last week but other than that it was a wonderful weekend at home, relaxing. Tim and Kristi's wedding was beautiful (the bride was STUNNING) but we did have to leave early, my bed time doesn't work well with evening plans these days. I did try to wear a pair of wedges, well that didn't turn out well and my ankle is still hurting... I guess there is a reason they say to stay off them, whooops!
I passed the GD test, YAY, so no three hour test for me. We are also starting bi-weekly appointments next week, it still doesn't seem possible that I am far enough along for that yet.
Baby is measuring at the size of an Eggplant this week - just a fatter one!
"Baby's lungs are mature enough that, if born right now, she has a pretty good chance of surviving (with help from medical technology). Her skin is still pretty wrinkly (one byproduct of living in amniotic fluid) but will smoothen as fat continues to deposit."
How far along? 28 weeks and 6 days.
Maternity clothes? Time to pick up some bigger cold weather clothes, first day out of the 80's for us in a while today!
Stretch marks? Still none yet, keep 'em crossed!
Sleep? I figure from here out this answer will more than likely be the same every week but sleep is still no good. I am starting to wonder if sleeping in the recliner would help?
Best moment this week? I had a hard week with work but one morning I slept in till 7:30 and then stayed in bed till 8AM watching my tummy move and spending some quite time with Braelyn. It was one of my favorite moments this week!
Food cravings: Doughnuts, the cake kind with chocolate frosting and sprinkles from target. I blame Danny for this ;)
Movement? Still more movement but I can tell its getting more cramped in there as the movements aren't so jerky.
What I miss? I miss not being sore, everywhere, all. the. time. This goes away, right ;)
What I'm looking forward to: Maternity pictures, scheduling with Brittney this week.
Milestones: We passed the GD test, HALLELUJAH!

YAY! First of all I can see your blog and all your updates now :) Whew! Glad that is covered. Second of all, you are wonderful and I love how you share these moments. You will love that you wrote them all down in the moment to look back on.
ReplyDeleteAches go away and are only replaced by new ones, like aches of the heart strings. Wonderful pains that remind you how much you are in love with Braelyn. Can't wait to talk to you more. Wish you were here, or we were there, basically that we were closer together.
